What it is

One night a month, the whole street throws the party.

On the first Thursday of every month, Rainey Street comes together to celebrate its community, its culture and the old bungalow bars that made it famous. The bars, the food park and the hotels all join in, so the street turns into one walkable night out.

Expect drink deals up and down the block, live music and DJs, local art and plenty of good food. It's organized by Visit Rainey and the Rainey Street Historic District, and the lineup changes every month.

The first Thursday of every month. The street-wide fun runs from about 6 PM until bars close at 2 AM. Augustine opens at 1 PM on Thursdays.

What happens on First Thursday?

Bars along Rainey run drink specials and themed parties, with live music, DJs, local art and food from the street's food park. The lineup changes every month.

Is Augustine part of First Thursday?

Yes. Augustine throws its own party, and our Thursday DJ plays the garden stage from 9 PM. Check @augustinecocktailbar for this month's theme.

Can I bring a group on First Thursday?

Yes. First Thursdays are busy, so if you're bringing a birthday or bachelorette crew, send us a group request and we'll hold the right spot for you.
